This is a great product. We used it to back up two PCs, one running Vista and another running XP. The backup was quicker for the Vista (with usb 2.0), but we didn't think the upload time was excessive for either computer. The software is very simple and gives you the option of installing a backup reminder. -- Great product

Saw this on QVC and was really impressed. Even more impressed when I got it. It's foolproof. If you want to be selective about WHAT you back up, then this may not be for you. But if you want to pop it in and back up everything on your machine and not worry about missing anything, this is for you. The Clickfree is wonderful and carefree. The problem is that I purchased what became a "C 01" after "C 02" was made. C 02 corrected the problem I encountered, which I later found out about via Tech Support at Clickfree. You can program the unit to backup whenever you want and, therefore, leave it plugged in continually. The problem is that if your computer/monitor is programed to hibernate or go to sleep with inactivity as mine is, the Clickfree backs up each time this happens. So every time I came back to my computer a screen showed me it had backed up. This happens more than 10 times a day on my computer. I have resolved the problem, by unplugging the Clickfree, and using the function to Remind me to backup, set for 48 hours. Then I plug it in, it backs up,and I unplug it. However, if you are buying one, be sure it says C 02. -- One problem with this item

Truly "Backing Up for Dummies." Don't bother reading the instructions. Just plug it in and it does everything for you. Incredibly easy to back up all your important files. I bought a different external hard drive for my son for Christmas and he complains what a hassle it is to drag and drop everything he wants to save. Now he wants a Clickfree!!! This product automatically finds and backs up important files on its own. It is a great feeling knowing all my photos and word documents are safely backed up. The unit even reminds you to back up every 30 days or on whatever schedule you choose. Fast and easy. Love it!!! -- LOVE THIS PRODUCT
